The day will include a rich variety of activities beginning at 12:30:
- Community Torah Project PowerPoint presentation with Rabbi Linda
- Challah mixing and braiding with Rabbi Jonathan
- Torah materials Show and Tell with Rabbi Linda
- Hebrew calligraphy with Rabbi Linda
- In addition, students and families approaching or who recently celebrated Bet Mitzvah are invited at 11am for Torah panel sewing with Rabbi Linda.
Schedule:
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Torah sewing with Rabbi Linda (5th- 8th grade students and parents)
- All are invited to mix challah dough with Rabbi Jonathan
12:00–12:30 p.m.: Pizza for participants staying for both morning and afternoon
12:30–2:30 p.m.
- Community Torah Project PowerPoint, Torah Show and Tell, and Hebrew calligraphy with Rabbi LindaChallah shaping and baking with Rabbi Jonathan
