Hike and Havdalah

Let’s celebrate Spring and the end of the Shabbat with an easy nature walk and Havdalah service at the beautiful Five Rivers Environmental Education Center. Explore the ponds with their active beavers, wildflowers in bloom, and fresh air. We’ll follow the Service Road Loop Trail, perfect for families and easy for multi-generational fun. Afterwards, Rabbi Gordon will lead us in a brief candle-lit Havdalah service under the stars!

Schedule:

6:30pm: Meet at the covered breezeway between the Visitors Center and Guided School Program Building

6:45pm – 7:45pm: Nature walk

7:45pm – 8:15pm: Schmoozing, snacks and water will be provided

8:15-8:30pm: Havdalah service under the stars!

FREE entry and parking.

Restrooms available at the Guided School Program Building.

NO DOGS ALLOWED.

Dress per weather forecast.

Avoid ticks by wearing long pants, using insect repellant, and checking for ticks afterwards.

Watch for deer on surrounding roads.
